When people imagine an ayahuasca retreat, they often think first about the ceremony. But a retreat is not made only of the hours spent inside the maloca. What happens between one ceremony and the next can be just as important: resting, eating simple meals, walking through the rainforest, speaking with the people accompanying you, and allowing yourself time to understand what you are experiencing.
